We are seeking an Inside Sales and Marketing Associate to be the “face” of our company to customers both in a call setting and at external events. This customer-oriented role is responsible for daily customer interaction as well as marketing and product demonstrations at conferences and trade shows.
This role is responsible for:
· Providing excellent customer support by managing customer contact via phone, fax, or email regarding orders, product inquiries, and quotations.
· Following up on customer inquiries regarding orders and shipments.
· Preparing needed paperwork for orders including purchase orders.
· Providing regular reports to management on call data, inquiries, sales, and returns.
· Serving as a company representative at marketing events such as trade shows and conferences to demonstrate products and to educate prospects on product features and benefits.
· Developing an in-depth knowledge of the specifications and features of our products to ensure delivery of accurate sales and product information.
· Occasional travel to represent products at marketing events.
Qualified Candidates should be a team player willing to pitch in as needed, and have:
· High school diploma or equivalent (required); a Marketing or Business-related degree preferred.
· Minimum 3-5 years experience in a customer service role or an equivalent combination of training; 3+ years marketing experience with product demonstration and customer interaction preferred.
· Technical knowledge as it relates to computer software, including Enterprise solutions and user interface; knowledge of SharePoint software is a plus.
· Self motivation, taking the initiative to solve problems at the appropriate level.
· Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Exceptional customer service orientation: professional, personable, energetic, with a willingness to help and problem solve.
· Strong rapport building skills with a positive and personable demeanor.
· Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate customer needs and product capabilities.
· Solid work ethic with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
· Exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
· Willingness to travel as required.
